Water damaged phone, turns on but screen is black

Recently we have taken a look at a few iPhone 7/7 Plus teardowns. While we can’t expect to see a teardown of the iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus, because the devices are not even close to being released yet, we have decided to take a look at the iPhone 7/7 Plus. With the iPhone 7 being released a couple of weeks ago, we have a chance to see how well Apple has fixed the problems with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.

Since the iPhone 7/7 Plus is still in the early stages of development, we are looking at a very early prototype, meaning that we have no idea what the final product will look like, or how the internal components will be laid out. We also have no idea how the new devices will perform. All we know is that the iPhone 7 will be released in September.

How to make my phone screen responsive after water damage

After a water accident in my apartment, I’m trying to make my phone screen responsive. My phone is a Samsung S4.

What I’ve done so far

I’ve tried to do it in 3 steps:

Tried to change the resolution of the phone screen, so that it was more “normal”

Tried to adjust the screen brightness

Tried to change the density of the font

The steps

1. Changed the resolution

After trying to change the resolution to 720 x 1280, I noticed that it was not responsive, but only at this size.

After a little research, I’ve discovered that I need to install a software called “Resize the screen”

So, I’ve installed it, and I’ve made the phone screen smaller than the one I’ve had before.

So, now, I have a screen size of 800 x 1280, and it’s responsive.

My phone screen is black after water damage. Repairable …

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My phone has been water damaged. I have tried getting it fixed at the local Verizon store, and they are telling me it’s not repairable. I just need a few recommendations, as this is a very old phone, so I can’t go get a new one.

I would like to have it fixed, as I don’t have a phone with me at the moment.

Does anyone know how much this repair would cost? Is there a way to get a quote from a technician?

I have already taken the phone in, and had the screen replaced. I just don’t want to pay the $30 for a new screen if it can’t be fixed.

So, basically, what I’m looking for is recommendations for an alternative phone, or what I can do to fix my phone.

Replacing the screen is not the end of the world.

Before we proceed with the mobile phone revival process…
